First Lehigh Hackathon!

Over the weekend on Saturday, Lehigh hosted its first hackathon. It was organized by our house, Coding the Future with the sponsoring company, rVibe. The hackathon took place at Sayre Lodge on Saturday from 9AM to 6PM. For this hackathon, the sponsoring company, rVibe wanted the students to create a mobile app which would allow responsive nudge. The idea is that many times people forget to do a task or are not responsive to a request. So the question is how do you create a mobile app which can help people by nudging them to do it. The students formed team and start hacking away their ideas from 10AM and eat lunch at 12:30 and at 5PM presented their ideas to the judges and the audience. Me and one of my friends formed a team and create a nudgy app using HTML, CSS, JavaScript. I used my knowledge from CSE264 which helped me code the app. Our app came in 3rd Place! We won a Xbox One wireless controller and Microsoft power bank. The company wanted us to send in our code so that their developer team could look at our ideas if they wanted to create this app. Below you can see the desktop version of our app.
