Yesterday ILR (Innovation and Leadership Residency) hosted a trip to Lutron, an electronics company that focuses on lighting. The trip was relatively short at about 2 hours long. The first thing we did when we got there was eat, and the pizza that they provided was pretty darn good (but very greasy). After food, one of the upper management had a presentation prepared for us on networking skills. We performed a few exercises in which we practiced some skills that we learned. The latter half of the trip was spent checking out what exactly they do at Lutron. One of the Lehigh alum that worked there gave us a tour in Lutron’s experience center which was essentially a house that had many of their products installed. I have to admit that the lighting was pretty neat, but I had a feeling it was a luxury that most people did not exactly need. Alas, I have no pictures or other media as my phone died just when I got there, but there are many images on their website and on google.
